We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Bitcoin Beach Grants for Bitcoin Circular Economies in partnership with the Federation of Bitcoin Circular Economies (FBCE) and Geyser.

A Total of 50 Million Sats Awarded

  • 5 million sats in total to Bitcoin Mtaani and Afribit Kibera for work to build the Bitcoin circular economy in the informal settlement of Kibera located in Nairobi, Kenya.
  • 5 million sats to Yes Bitcoin Haiti for their multifaceted work to continue growing the Bitcoin circular economy in the region of St. Michel de l'Attalaye, Haiti.
  • 3 million sats to Ordermoon, an innovative project growing the Bitcoin circular economy in  Sofia, Varna and Plovdiv in Bulgaria through BTC enabled restaurant listings, table booking, and food ordering.
  • 3 million sats to Bitcoin House Bali for their work to build a closed-loop Bitcoin circular economy in Bali, Indonesia.
  • 3 million sats to Bitcoin Dominican Republic, for their work to advance the Bitcoin circular economy throughout the island.
  • 3 million sats to Bitcoin Babies, a powerful social impact project for mothers and infants in Kimbo, Kenya which is growing the local Bitcoin circular economy through this project.
  • 3 million sats to Bitcoin Republic to grow the Bitcoin circular economy in Los Angeles, USA, anchored in the city’s diaspora community from El Salvador and then expanding next to other Spanish-speaking diaspora communities in the city.
  • 2 million sats to Cuba Bitcoin for their work to grow the Bitcoin circular economy throughout Cuba, from a base in Havana.
  • 2 million sats to Bitcoin Dua to expand the Bitcoin circular economy in Agbozume, Ghana from the base of an education centre that will enable them to further diversify and scale activities.
  • 2 million sats to Bitcoin Isla Mujeres, an emerging Bitcoin circular economy project located on this island off the Yucatan coast of Mexico.
  • 2 million sats to Bitcoin House Montevideo to grow the Bitcoin circular economy in the capital city of Uruguay.
  • 2 million sats to Anambra Bitcoin Community for their work to grow the Bitcoin circular economy in Anambra State, Nigeria anchored in the Onitsha Main Market, one of the largest markets on the African continent.
  • 2 million sats to Nova Stars which is growing the Bitcoin circular economy  in Paramaribo, Suriname by integrating Bitcoin into the various activities of this football club and social development project for youth and their families.
  • 2 million sats to Calabar Bitcoin Club for their efforts to grow the Bitcoin circular economy in Calabar located in Cross River State, Nigeria.
  • 2 million sats to Bitcoin Sranan, a project aimed at growing the overall Bitcoin circular economy in Paramaribo, the capital city of Suriname.
  • 2 million sats to School of Satoshi, a partner project of Bitcoin Kampala, for their efforts to scale up the Bitcoin circular economy in Kampala and region, in Uganda.
  • 2 million sats to Bitcoin Tamps Bay, for efforts to continue expanding the Bitcoin circular economy in the city of Tampa Bay, Florida, USA.
  • 1 million sats to Bitcoin Beach Goa / Plebs Together for their work to grow a Bitcoin circular economy in Benaulim, a coastal town in Goa, India.
  • 1 million sats to B is for Bosa, an emerging Bitcoin circular economy in the town of Bosa, located in Sardinia, Italy.
  • 1 million sats to Bitcoin Victoria Falls to continue scaling their Bitcoin circular economy efforts in the town of Livingstone (Mosi-oa-tunya / Victoria Falls), Zambia.
  • 1 million sats to Bitcoin Montserrat for efforts to incubate the local Bitcoin circular economy on the island of Montserrat, in the Caribbean.
  • 1 million sats to DVADTZYATODIN (which translates to “Twenty One”) for efforts to grow the Bitcoin circular economy in the cities of Kyiv and Kharkivin, in Ukraine.
